WS8856FLS is an 861-930MHz serial Wi-SUN module independently developed by Chengdu Silent Smart Technology Co., Ltd. with maximum transmit power up to 20dBm. The module adopts TI's CC1352P7 high-performance RF chip, supporting IEEE 802.15.4g, IPv6-enabled Smart Objects (6LoWPAN), mioty®, Wi-SUN®, proprietary systems including TI 15.4-Stack (Sub-1GHz), and concurrent multi-protocols via Dynamic Multiprotocol Manager (DMM) drivers.

The WS8856FLS serial Wi-Sun module includes two modes: border router and router, which can be configured via the serial command set. The module features self-organizing network, multiple Wi-SUN networks in the same area, node replacement, network topology acquisition and auto-routing, remote configuration, multicast transmission, UDP transmission, and a wide range of other features for easy and efficient networking.
