Chengdu Silent Smart Technology Co., Ltd as STMicroelectronics China eco-partner with rich experience in module development, was the first one to release the STM32WL33-based wireless digital transmission module - WS8561DLS in September 2023.
The WS8561DLS is developed using STM32WL33, ST's latest SoC chip that supports GFSK debugging wireless communication protocols. The STM32WL33 integrates a general-purpose microcontroller and an RF unit on a single chiwhich includes an RF transceiver, a modem, and a 64MHz mains frequency, 32-bit MCU utilizing the Arm Cortex M0+ architecture, with 256kB of Flash capacity and an SRAM. The WS8561DLS has a Flash capacity of 256kB and an SRAM capacity of 32kB, which provides a longer transmission distance, faster speed, lower power consumption and smaller size.
WS8561DLS supports fixed-point transmission, transparent transmission, wireless wake-up, wireless relay and other functions. Its high-performance MCU makes a substantial improvement in function and efficiency. The internal data processing adopts 3-level cache, which greatly increases the stability and real-time data
Supports license-free ISM 433MHz band and 470MHz meter reading band.
Supports users to set their own communication keys, which cannot be read, greatly improving the confidentiality of user data.
Supports up to 40mW (~16dBm) of transmit power.

Support modbus programmable register read/write operation, which can be flexibly customized.
Supports Wake-on-Air, i.e. ultra-low power consumption, suitable for battery-powered applications.
